Triple Layer Vegan Chocolate Almond Butter Bars

Ingredients

Brownie layer
  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup very creamy almond butter
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Almond butter layer
  • 1 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp coconut flour
Chocolate layer
  • 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the brownie ingredients until a thick batter forms and then bake at 350 degrees for 27 minutes.
  3. Cool down the brownies COMPLETELY and place in the freezer for 20 minutes. then, add the almond butter layer.
  4. Place in the freezer for 30 more minutes, remove and add the chocolate layer. place back in the freezer for two hours to set.
  5. Remove and let the hard chocolate top thaw for about 15 minutes or until you see it start to thaw so that when you cut the bars into squares, the chocolate doesn’t crack.
  6. Place back in the freezer for 30 minutes so the brownie layer becomes more firm and enjoy!
  7. Store in the freezer in an airtight container.
