Barney Butter Green Beans with Almonds


  • 1 lb. Green beans, freshly cleaned and trimmed
  • 1/4 cup Barney Butter Smooth Almond Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Almonds, sliced and toasted


  1. In a small bowl, whisk the almond butter, lite soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and sugar until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a large pan, sauté the vegetable oil with the minced garlic over medium heat for roughly 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. When the garlic is golden brown, add in the green beans. Sauté for 5-10 minutes or until the green beans are a vibrant green color.
  4. Mix in the almond butter sauce, coating the green beans thoroughly. Top with the toasted almond slices. Enjoy!
